During the past couple of weeks, students have finished up with their Anti-Bullying videos and began with the Kindness Week activities.
The lessons/activities focused on kindness for self, kindness for others and kindness for the environment. Their postures of kindness focused on school gratitude and self care.
The additional kindness topics discussed in class were empathy and compassion. The students did research on how for example practicing gratitude can increase the mental health of individuals
according to science. Our goal was to add a little more kindness to our school and community. If you get a chance, take a look at the posters in the hallway:)
